Mr. O. P. Nambiar, as he was known affectionately has retired from active service. He is an experienced Chemical Engineer who brings nearly four decades of knowledge and expertise to CCI. He joined CCI in 1969 in the Northern Zone Office and since then has performed a variety of roles in the areas of technical design, project implementation, sales and marketing. He has specialized in the area of equipment design optimization especially in the Vegetable Oil Industry.
Mr. O. P. Nambiar completed his undergraduate degree (Bachelor of Science, Technology) from the University of Madras. He then earned a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the Carnegie Institute of Technology, and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA.
Mr. O. V. Nambiar joined CCI in 1972 as Director-in-Charge of the Southern Office.
Mr. O. V. Nambiar earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from University of Madras.
Mr. Pradeep Varma joined CCI in 2002 and brings over 20 years of comprehensive expertise in the areas Project Engineering and Execution. Prior to joining CCI he worked for several years with Reliance Industries Limited and with BHEL (Bharat Heavy Electronics Limited), where he performed in a variety of roles in the fields of Bio-Diesel, Plasma Waste Gassification, Power & Utility systems for Petrochemical complexes and for Thermal & Gas Turbine-based Power Plants. Mr. Varma has specialized in the area of Bio-Diesel and has complete responsibility for engineering and implementation of CCI’s Bio-Diesel projects.
Mr. Pradeep Varma earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Regional Engineering College in Rourkela, India.
Mr. Ajay Nambiar combines a background in the construction industry along with 14 years of experience in Operations, Sales and Marketing. Prior to joining CCI in 2007, he worked with Honeywell Incorporated and Afilias Limited, where he has held a variety of roles focusing on Business Development and Operations, and has been instrumental in setting up new lines of business.
Mr. Ajay Nambiar earned his Masters in Architecture from Georgia Institute of Technology and his Masters in Business Administration from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.

Mr. G.K. Maheshwari is a Chemical Engineer with comprehensive knowledge and proven experience of engineering and manufacturing of complex process equipment within the Oleo-Chemicals Industry for the past 40 years. Mr. Maheshwari joined CCI in 2001 and has been responsible for managing all operational aspects of turnkey projects including procurement, manufacturing, project management and commissioning.
Mr. G.K. Maheshwari completed his Bachelors of Technology in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) and subsequently earned his Masters in Chemical Engineering from IIT as well.
Mr. M.N. Mohanan Nair is a Mechanical Engineer and for the past 30 years has worked in senior positions in the Design and Engineering for Process Equipments. He first joined CCI in 1981 and since then has held a variety of roles ranging from Lead Designer to Design Superintendent. He is currently has full responsibility and oversight for the entire Design, Engineering and Drafting division.
Mr. M.N. Mohanan Nair earned his Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Technical Institute (ITI), Bangalore, India.
Mr. Balram Tyagi is a Chemical Engineer with extensive experience and knowledge in the Oil & Fats and Oleo-Chemical Industry. Prior to joining CCI in 2005, Mr. Tyagi worked for some of the leading companies in the Oils & Fats sector such as OswalAgro Mills, Vee Kay Oil, Shree Ganesh Fats, Swastik Oleochem Limited, among others. He brings a strong background of executing projects and is currently responsible for managing all operational aspects of Turnkey projects in the areas of Oleochemicals.
Mr. Balram Tyagi completed his Bachelor of Technology in the area of Chemistry from the Harcourt Butler Technology Institute (HBTI) in Kanpur, India. He subsequently earned his Master of Technology in the area of Oil Technology from HBTI as well.
Mr. M.D. Murthy is an Oil Technologist with significant experience in the Bio-Diesel, and Oils & Fats Industry. Mr. Murthy has worked with CCI since 1992 and has been responsible for managing all operational aspects of our turnkey projects from including project management, site supervision and commissioning.
Mr. M.D. Murthy earned both his Bachelor of Science in the area of Oil Technology and his Bachelor of Technology in Oils, Fats and Soaps from Andhra University, India.
Mr. D. Sugathan is a Chemical Engineer from Kerala University with significant experience in Solvent Extraction, Refinery, Palm Oil Mill Industry. Mr. Sugathan has worked with CCI since 2002 and has been responsible for managing all operational aspects of our turnkey projects from including project management, site supervision and commissioning.
